MAI in the Community
Professional and in-kind community service has been a passion for all of us here at McCoy Associates.
The lead umbrella organization in Washington for building owners, architects, contractors, and suppliers is the Washington Building Congress. Our staff has included a past-President, membership on the Board of Directors and Board of Governors, and active participation on the WBC’s Community Services Committee.
Helping citizens with intellectual disabilities is the primary focus of our volunteer efforts in the local community. Jane has participated on the local, state, and federal level working with nonprofit groups, federal grant programs, and local government to oversee and improve fiscal and policy oversight of programs for the Intellectually Disabled and their families. Residential, vocational, family education and ethnic competencies are of particular interest, and continue to evolve.
Philanthropic endowment is reflected through Special Olympics, Project Family, LULAC, Northern Virginia Family Services and SOME.
